Staff Cadets are a vital component of Fort Custer Combined Training. While Petty Officer Leadership Academy teaches the theory of leadership an advance training as a staff cadet is the hands on application of those theories and principles. A successfully completed POLA is a requirement. A staff cadet training can be very challenging and demanding, with long hours. You will be expected to set the example at all times for your subordinates. For this reason staff cadets must be at least sixteen years of age and at least a PO3. Staffing Navy League Orientation does meet one of the requirements for appointment to Chief Petty Officer. Sea bag requirements are the same as Fort Custer Training Sea Bag List in the Welcome Letter. Include your Khaki's if applicable. If you are interested in staffing at Fort Custer Training (FCT) or have any questions concerning FCT please contact the COTC, LCDR Lisa Stoyanovich at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Staff Cadet check in is 1000 Friday 17, 2020. Staff Cadets will be dismissed after the camp has been secured on Saturday 25 July, 2020. You will not be dismissed after Graduation. Last year we were done by 1400. Exception is any cadet traveling commercial.
