Because NSCC regulations require six weeks between enrollment and the start of RT, Magellan will not allow anyone to register for RTMI who was not enrolled as of 11 June 2021; if you're considering joining, take initiative to ensure you're enrolled and have passed your PRT prior to then.

Make your payment for training. Your billet is not secure until you do.
Training runs from Friday 23JULY2021 (Intake Day) until Saturday, 31JULY2021 (Graduation Day).
Time your arrival to the base no earlier than 0900 on Friday and no later than 1100!
There is no commerical transportion support. All participants must arrive by private vehicle.
ADA - All Requests for Accommodation must be uploaded into Magellan well in advance for review. An approved request for accommodation at the home unit does not automatically apply at the training. Your unit's officers must help you with this process.

At the Local Division Level
NSCTNG001 Request for Training Authority (orders). This is done through the training officer at your local division/squadron/battalion.
Many divisions require a formal request for training. Regardless of whether this is true at your division or not take the initiative to request Recruit Training. You normally make this request to your Training Officer (otherwise the commanding officer).
The NSCTNG001 consists of several pages. Be sure to fill these forms out carefully or you will waste time filling them out again.
Submit/Upload your request for Training into Magellan. Your local division will submit your request for orders through our Sea Cadet network system, "Magellan". You do not have access to Magellan so this must be done by the officer/staff in your division.
Documents to be uploaded to Magellan include:
Medical History Supplement (only if cadet needs to take over the counter or prescription medication during the training).
Prior to reporting for training, the COVID-19 Attestation & In Take Checklist document will be uploaded to Magellan ahead of training and the original (with wet signature - no digital signatures) placed in the service record.
Once the payment has been processed you are done with the application process. You will be notified by an email from Magellan when your spot at RT Fort Custer is confirmed. Note: Some emails from Magellan go to SPAM. Check your SPAM box.
